Sato Crimps and Crimp Kits were developed several years ago, for anglers wishing to connect spectra to monofilament or fluorocarbon. Garry Sato is a well known long range angler fishing the Giant Yellowfin Tuna off the coast of Baja and Mexico. The original design of the crimps and plier were not Garry's, however, he has refined and now produces the pliers and crimps for sale. In order to perform the correct connection the pliers and crimps require extremely tight tolerances and are machined for a perfect crimp without over crimping. Over crimping is the number one cause of failure.
Sato Crimp Kits are available in either the Pro model or as a Starter Kit offering the basics for low profile knotless connections.
