A stout, 8-foot version of the original backbouncing rod, this G Loomis BBR964C is designed mainly to fish for steelhead and salmon on larger rivers with heavy current. The extra length makes it a good choice for deep-water runs and pools where extra weight is needed and line control is more of an issue.
